About this course

Course Image

This is the perfect class to learn basic cooking skills. You will also learn what you need to know to successfully get a Food Handler’s Certificate. Each class covers: nutrition education, basis culinary skills, hands-on food preparation, food safety, and seasonal produce tips. After attending of all classes participants will receive a certificate of completion. The last class on April 17th will be from 3pm to 7pm for those that want to take the online training and exam to earn a Food Handler’s Certificate. This class is sponsored by the Alameda County Nutrition Services.
