About this Course

Parent and Child Aquatics introduces you and your child to basic skills. One parent or guardian must work in the water with the child under the direction of the instructor. As parents, you learn how to safely work with your child in the water, including how to appropriately support and hold your child in the water and how to prepare and encourage your child to participate fully and try the skills. In addition, you are introduced to several water safety topics. Your child receives an introduction to basic skills that lay a foundation for learning to swim. Swim diaper and necessary swim wear for participants mandatory in the water (CA health code). Refund/Transfer Policy: • 31 days or more BEFORE the start date of the class, 25% of fee is kept. • 11-30 days BEFORE the start date of the class, 50% of fee is kept. • 10 days or less BEFORE the start date of the class, 100% fee is kept. • All transactions are subject to a $10 administration fee per person.
